SUMMARY
MyMusicBattles is a community of artists whose goal is to provide a space where every artist has an equal chance to be seen and, above all, to have their voice heard. Everything revolves around battles: each artist can submit their music to the battles. In the “battle votes” section, we highlight artists who regularly vote in the battles.
Important Update:
To avoid confusion between public voting and battle voting, public voting has been temporarily suspended. However, all public votes that have already been submitted will still be included in the final score calculation.

Why did we create this website?
Many artists don't know where to start when it comes to getting heard:
  • • TV talent shows such as Got Talent, The Voice, American Idol, etc. are saturated due to the large number of artists who want to take part.
  • • Social media is a good starting point for getting discovered, but it isn't really suited to music creation, as it often requires daily posting, while making music takes a lot of time.
  • • Traditional promotion requires a significant budget and generally works best for already established artists with a label. It's hard to imagine someone spending all their savings to promote their very first song.
In summary:
We have observed that in today's landscape, there is a lack of a platform that is accessible to everyone, fair, and gives every musician the same opportunity, from their very first recording in their bedroom to the one that could make them a global star, through dozens or even hundreds of recordings in their home studio.
Non-Stop Music Contest:
We believe that a platform with an integrated music contest could address the problem in the following ways:
  • • Guarantee visibility for every artist through the contest
  • • Highlight the most accomplished songs (those that win the contest).

Battles:
  • • Each artist uploads their song whenever they want.
  • • Any logged-in user is presented with a battle (two songs side by side) and, after a brief listen, votes for their preferred track.
  • • Once a song has participated in 100 battles, it enters the rankings with a score based on the percentage of battles it has won (20%, 30%, 70%, etc.).
  • • Rewards: Songs with a score of 65% or higher will be featured in the homepage playlist for at least one year, offering a strong opportunity to be discovered by site visitors.
Coins:
To encourage voting, you can earn up to 2 coins for each vote in battles.
  • • If you have active coins, your profile may be regularly featured on the homepage (another chance to get discovered).
  • • If you have at least 100 coins, you can use them to speed up your participation in battles.
  • • Please note: coins are valid for 30 days.
  • • You can enable a reminder to receive an email notification when your coins expire.
Public Voting:
  • • Artists who want to involve friends and family can ask them to vote directly for their song (outside of battles).
  • • These votes can boost your final score by up to 30%.
  • • With 10 public votes, you gain direct access to the battles.
  • • No account is required to vote.
